That's Russell.
And I'm here to tell ya that he is the most cunning Survivor player I've ever seen play this game. I cannot believe he found the SECOND immunity idol yesterday with absolutely NO CLUE. Dude is in serious survival mode and it's working for him.
I only wish, though, that I could find a screenshot of Dave, Monica & Laura's faces during tribal last night when he played the idol. The look of disbelief on their faces was PRICELESS.
And sweet southern belle Natalie taking down the rat because she's freaking starving? AWESOME. Of course, here, it would just be psychotic. But out there? Necessary. She's starving, people.
This is by far one of the best Survivor seasons I've seen in a while... and I think it's all thanks to dear ole Russ. I'm behind him all the way now - and hope that he can continue to stay one step ahead of them.

I could not STAND him when it first started. He was horrible.
But, I am firly on team Russell now. He is an amazing player. That blindside was awesome!
Yep, he is definitely smart...and very determined. Im not sure I "like" him, but I do believe he can win this. I too thought the look on their faces was priceless!
I agree with Obladi Oblada, Russell isn't exactly likeable but you gotta give him mad props for his skills as a player. It cracks me up to think of these people watching the show for the first time with the rest of us and discovering who Russell really was and how he played the game. I'm sure they had NO CLUE.

I have always told my husband that if we got stranded on an island he should just eat me right away because I would be of no other use to him.
Thanks for the update. I need all the helpful hints I can get on how to survive, always scared that it will happen to me.
I definitely have a love/hate feelings about him. But I think some of the others are just as unlikeable but more edited. I also love the ads for this episode this week. I hope he finds another one!
I got a tweet Thursday, all it said was RUSSELL. I was waiting to watch the show with my boyfriend. I was CRUSHED I thought she meant he got voted out. The whole show, my stomach was in knots. OH SWEET, SWEET victory!

Ok... so I'm not rooting for him. But I am begining to think everyone else is letting him run circles around them... so they deserve it.
No doubt - Russ drives me insane - but he is also so much what I like about this season. Two idols, no clues?! Craziness.

You took the words right out of my mouth...or right off of my fingertips! Laura--*shudder*. She scares me. Russel--awesome! I think before the season started, Jeff called him the player we'd love to hate. At first, I couldn't figure it out... I didn't love to hate him, I just hated him. Now...I just LOVE him!
